Background
Bartlett
Grain is an Australian business specialising in the development and
trading of primary produce with world class expertise in all stock-feed
ingredients. Currently Bartlett Grain is specialising in promoting buckwheat, lupin meal, pulses, containerised wheat, hulled oats and fish by-products.
Established
in 1964 and still managed by its founder Brian W Bartlett, the company
offers a wealth of experience built upon its foundation of family history,
long term industry involvement, exceptional client service and market
driven product innovation.
Brian W
Bartlett heralds from a long line of Australian Traders following his
great grandfather Jabez Bartlett who first established a primary produce trading business in Tasmania
in 1861. Brian has continued this pioneering spirit with many achievements
including organising the first exports of Barley, Sunflower seed, cotton
seed meal, buckwheat and Azuki Beans from NSW as well as the first imports
into Australia of New Zealand rendered animal by-products, South American
Fish Meal and US Soya Bean Meal. He has also pioneered the growing of
buckwheat, Azuki Beans and Faba Beans in Australia.
Innovation
Currently
Bartlett Grain is at the forefront of research and development into
the enrichment in land animals with long chain Omega 3 PUFA's (poly-unsaturated fatty acids) utilising potentiated
fish waste products. This research has demonstrated numerous health
benefits to both the animals and humans through this development. These
benefits include:
